This post is the first in English on this blog. It was written by my distant relative, computer pioneer Ted Holm Nelson, and is an introduction to a YouTube series of lectures that he just made:

Are you a Dummy, naive and gullible?

If so, there are thousands of books for the likes of you. Go elsewhere, and drink in the lies called "computer basics".

Design av brukerinterface er som å lage en film

Ted Holm Nelson hadde foredrag med tittel "Out of the Paperdigm" 25. oktober på Institutt for Informatikk. Han beskriver seg selv slik:

Ted Nelson is an idealistic troublemaker who coined the word 'hypertext' in the sixties, and continues to fight for a completely different computer world.

Han startet med sin egen versjon av world wide webs historie, fra parallelle tekster på Rosettasteinen, via Vannevar Bush' memex i 1945, sin egen hypertekst-visjon fra 1960 og fram til og med Mosaic nettleseren i 1992.
